Manila, 21 March 2016 – BPI-Philam officially launches its newly designed website that promises an improved experience on all devices. “As different types of people use our site, we made it our mission to design the website around real customers, with the goal of making the language easy to digest, glanceable, guiding and relevant to our customers,” says Ariel G. Cantos, Chief Executive Officer of BPI-Philam.
BPI-Philam took significant steps during the development of the new website to assess what people really want to know about life insurance and how it can be provided. With life insurance deemed too technical and difficult to understand, the new website’s content is written following the company’s simple language guidelines. “We are making it easier for customers to do business with us starting with the language we use. You will hardly find insurance jargons in our new website, and if there are any, we provide a definition that could easily be understood by a person with no knowledge on life insurance,” says Cantos.
In the website’s Key Moments, people who find themselves at a certain life stage such as getting married, working abroad, or running a business will find helpful tips and topics relevant to their needs followed by a solution to help secure these. For people who already know what type of insurance they need, they could easily go to the website’s Our Products.
The new website uses vibrant colors and a cards layout for users to easily scan and digest information. Most importantly, the website is made for all kinds of devices with its responsive web design (RWD) that makes sure that the site provides optimal viewing and interaction experience. Navigation is now easier whether you resize, pan or scroll using a desktop computer, mobile phone or other devices.
“The new website is just one of BPI-Philam’s continued efforts to provide the best customer experience and reach out to more Filipinos in a rapidly changing, technologically-driven world,” concludes Cantos.
