Your guide to filing a claim
There are three types of claims that you can file depending on your policy’s benefit: Accident, Illness, or Death.
Choose the type of claim you would like to file and fill out the form under each section.
You will be asked about your basic information as well as some details about the type of claim you are filing.
Please secure and upload clear copies of the necessary requirements for each type of claim.
You will also be asked in this section how you would like to receive your pay-out if your request is approved.
Once you submit your requirements, your request will be reviewed and evaluated by our claims team. You can expect to receive an update from us via SMS and email in the next few business days.
You will receive a reference number that you can use to track the status of your request through this website. If you would like to follow-up the status of your claim, simply send us an email at claims@aia.com citing your claim reference number in the subject line.

1. For the Insured:
- Death Certificate of the Deceased
- Police Investigation Report (If the cause of death is due to an accident)
2. For the Beneficiary
- Valid Government ID
- Marriage Contract (If the Beneficiary is the spouse)
- Birth Certificate (If the Beneficiary is below 18 years old)

Our Bancassurance Sales Executives at any BPI or BPI Family Savings Bank branch nearest you can also gladly assist in filing your claim.
Your claims payout will be credited to your nominated BPI account. Due to the restrictions brought about by the current situation, we are unable to release the claims benefit through check nor through our pickup from any branch of BPI/BPI Family Savings Bank disbursement facility.
Depending on the nature or type of claim and submission of complete documents, your claim request may be processed in ten (10) to thirty (30) working days. Your claim benefit will be credited to your nominated account within three (3) days from the approval of claim request.
Please expect your claims payout to be credited to your nominated account within ten (10) to thirty (30) working days depending on the nature of the claim.
Below are the specific durations from claims disbursement enrollment to claims payout:
1. Claims with preferred disbursement previously enrolled: ten (10) working days
2. Claims with no preferred disbursement currently enrolled: fifteen (15) working days
3. Claims with contestable cases: thirty (30) working days
