The BPI-Philam Global Bond Fund invests primarily in the iShares Global Aggregate Bond Fund, an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) domiciled in Ireland suited for moderately aggressive investors. The objective of the fund is to provide investors with total return, considering both capital and income returns by investing in a diversified portfolio of global investment-grade fixed-income instruments such as government, government-related, corporate, and securitized bonds. The fund aims to track the performance of its benchmark which is the Bloomberg Barclays Global Aggregate Bond Index. This fund will be managed by the Bank of the Philippine Islands through its Asset Management and Trust Corporation (AMTC).
